Your Audiologist loves hearing from you! Log in to your account. On your dashboard, there is a “Send Audiologist a Message” button. There you can send a message to your audiologist securely.
PS. It’s totally okay to wish them happy birthday!
Tuned audiologists are ‘hear’ to help! In your consultation you’ll meet with your audiologist who will review your hearing screener results and discuss your top hearing health priorities. During this time, the audiologist will also make recommendations that can range from different kinds of hearing technology to directing you to a specialized provider for guidance on a specific condition.
All consultations are completed by licensed audiologists (providers who specialize in hearing and balance disorders). They hold a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree, like the level of education of an optometrist or physical therapist.
After each consultation, your audiologist writes a consultation report that will be published to your dashboard. It’s comprehensive and you’ll definitely find it interesting. If you have any questions, you can write your audiologist a note from your dashboard or, if you prefer to talk directly, you can schedule a follow-up consultation.
Your audiologist will consider your hearing, communication needs, and priorities before making recommendations. These can include:
Your Audiologist will know! They’ll review the options and advise you on which option would best meet your needs. The decision is ultimately yours, as Tuned practices person-centered care.
Absolutely! It depends on your plan. If you’re unsure whether your plan covers hearing aids, contact us at support@tunedcare.com. Your audiologist will recommend the best options for you, including prescription and over-the-counter hearing aids.
Your audiologist will inform you if a medical evaluation or in-person consultation is recommended. It all depends on your history and hearing results.
Tuned consultations can help anyone with hearing or balance problems. This includes hearing loss, auditory processing disorder, tinnitus, or vertigo.
All providers on Tuned are audiologists. They have advanced degrees, often a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.,) and specialize in hearing and balance disorders. ENTs are medical doctors who specialize in the ear, nose, and throat. If your history and results indicate a medical issue, your audiologist will likely recommend that you follow up with an ENT for medical evaluation.
There is no minimum headcount, but for groups under 100 there is an annual cost of $1,800.
Tuned can be offered to any of the following populations: all benefits eligible employees, those medically enrolled and part-time employees. We also can cover contractors or 1099 employees.
Employers decide if they want to include dependents, and then all dependents (spouse/partner/children) are included. Employers can decide also to only allow coverage for employees and spouses, excluding children. The same logic applies where all dependents must enroll and cannot be added on a voluntary basis.
Coverage depends on your plan. If you’re unsure whether your plan includes hearing devices, contact us at support@tunedcare.com.
